Second class trains are generally clean and pleasant. A modern (and expanding)airport (Findel) is located only 4 miles outside Luxembourg City. The passenger terminal was opened in November 1975 and a new terminal was added in 2004. Luxembourg has daily (or more) air service to Paris, London, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam.
