In order to provide the Guatemalan public with more options for obtaining an appointment for an interview for a Non-Immigrant Visa (NIV), on Thursday, January 27, 2005, the Embassy of the United States of America will introduce an option to obtain a Personal Identification Number (PIN) from Bancafé to access the official Visa Information Service (VIS). To receive immigrant or nonimmigrant visa information and to schedule nonimmigrant visa interview appointments at the Embassy, visa applicants will be able to obtain a PIN from Bancafé and then, one business day later, call 1-800-300-0023 toll free to access the Visa Information Service and schedule an appointment for a NIV interview.
