The Wisconsin Fair Housing Network is seeking nominations for its 2005 Fair Housing Awards. The awards will be presented during the Fair Housing Conference luncheon program. The Fair Housing Conference will be held at the Kalahari Resort Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin on April 15, 2005. Since 1985 the Wisconsin Fair Housing Network has annually presented the awards to recognize Wisconsin individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions in furthering fair housing and reducing housing discrimination in their communities. Wisconsin Court System - The Third Branch
The Children’s Court Improvement Program has provided funding for the conference every year since its inception. Bonnie Geyer, UW-Extension senior outreach specialist, and Atty. Michelle Jensen Goodwin, director of the Children’s Court Improvement Program, developed the conference in response to the enactment of Supreme Court Rule 35, which requires a minimum level of training for guardians ad litem.
