Wisconsin Gypsy Moth Program Home Page
The Wisconsin Cooperative Gypsy Moth Program consists of partners from the Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection, the Department of Natural Resources, and the University of Wisconsin Extension. Each agency specializes or manages different aspects of the gypsy moth issue. DATCP works with wood product quarantine issues and manages the federally funded Slow the Spread spraying program in the western half of the state. The DNR works with forest landowners and homeowners on large or small scale control options and coordinates the Suppression program, which also uses federal monies to assist with aerial spraying.
