Bureau of Justice Statistics Crime Data Request: South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division Presents findings from the review of data requests made to the UCR Department of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) to gain an improved understanding of the types of criminal data most commonly requested and to identify standard incident-based tables that could streamline SLED's provision of information. The Census Bureau recently released to the Subcommittee on the Census, Committee on Government Reform and Oversight, a copy of the Public Law 94 - 171 data adjusted to reflect the measured net undercounts based on the 1990 Census Post-Enumeration Survey.
