Este decreto de ley agregaría secciones al estatuto de Acoso Sexual actual bajo el Decreto General de Leyes de Rhode Island 11-37-8 haciendo que se considere un crimen la solicitación indecente de una persona menor de 18 años con el objetivo de contratación en un acto de prostitución. Conforme a la ley actual, no hay ningún estatuto expresamente adaptado a la solicitación de un niño con el objetivo de prostitución. Este decreto también incluye enmiendas técnicas a la sección de pornografía infantil del estatúto basado en enmiendas a la ley federal la cual es el modelo del estatúto de Rhode Island.
