Energy Projects Development LLC has submitted a notice of intent to apply for a site certificate for the Jordan Cove Energy Project . The proposed energy facility is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal. The proposed facility would also include a combined-cycle gas combustion turbine power plant with a generating capacity of 25 megawatts or less. The proposed facility would received LNG off-loaded from ocean-going vessels for storage in an LNG storage tank. The proposed facility would include equipment to compress and vaporize LNG when natural gas is needed for dispatch. The proposed facility would be located on the North Spit of Coos Bay in Coos County.
