Energy Projects Development LLC has submitted a notice of intent to apply for a site certificate for the Jordan Cove Energy Project . The proposed energy facility is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal. The proposed facility would also include a combined-cycle gas combustion turbine power plant with a generating capacity of 25 megawatts or less. The proposed facility would received LNG off-loaded from ocean-going vessels for storage in an LNG storage tank. The proposed facility would include equipment to compress and vaporize LNG when natural gas is needed for dispatch.
