We are aware of the reference and have prepared draft language to amend the reference and resolve the discrepancy via a technical amendment. Please note that it may be some time before the technical amendment appears in the FEDERAL REGISTER as we are combining several corrections in one notice. It will take some research and coordination to ensure that all the corrections are technically accurate and legally sufficient. In addition, the notice will need to undergo the Department of Labor's clearance process as required of all FEDERAL REGISTER notices. In response to the Information Quality Act, the Department of Labor has established processes that allow affected persons to question the quality of information disseminated by the Department. The process begins with an affected person submitting an Information Quality Correction Request (IQCR). Currently, the Department has a policy of responding to all IQCRs within 60 days. In an effort to enhance government transparency, the Department has also adopted a policy of posting IQCRs on a public web page. This policy was adopted in response to a directive from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
