The Oklahoma City VAMC has active affiliations with the University of Oklahoma Medical School. The Oklahoma City VA Medical Center is connected both physically and functionally to the University. Over 200 University residents, interns, and students are trained at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center each year. There are also nursing student affiliations as well as affiliations involving dentistry, pharmacy, social work, audiology and speech pathology and psychology with the University of Oklahoma.
