Play at Home Overview I n November of 2002, the Ohio Lottery added a Play-At-Home feature to the Cash Explosion ® Double Play Show. The feature is associated with the Cash Explosion ® instant ticket via a bonus box, and each week twenty-four Play-At-Home players are selected. Play-At-Home players are partnered with show contestants (three Play-At-Home players per show contestant) and win money based on how well their contestant does in each semi-final round. If a Play-At-Home players show contestant wins their semi-final round, the three Play-At-Home players partnered with the contestant win $500.
