In 1863, Governor David Tod of Ohio became worried about Lincoln's safety. Tod, upon his return to Ohio, had a new unit raised for Lincoln's security. Senior Members of Ohio Wing: Ohio Wing will be hosting a new National Cadet Special Activity this summer at Wright State University, Dayton. The Engineering Technical School (E-Tech), 30 July thru 6 August, will familiarize the cadets with a number of engineering disciplines from Aerospace to Electronic to Bio and more. The Wright State engineering department has done an outstanding job of creating some extremely interesting programs. Additionally, the cadets will become familiar with The National Museum of the U. S. Air Force and the labs at Wright-Patterson AFB. In support of this national activity, I am looking for three or four senior members including, at least, one female, who would be interested in escorting and working with the cadets as they progress through each area of engineering.
