Ohio has an excellent performance record in a number of areas within child support - including collecting just over $2 billion in child support in 2004.* This amount includes $1.47 billion in income withholding and over $133 million in tax offset collections. With the third largest caseload in the nation, Ohio continues to look for ways to make the program easier, more effective, and more customer-friendly for our clients. Office of Child Support Child Support Payment Central (CSPC) was developed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS), Office of Child Support, in response to Federal legislation mandating the implementation and operation of a state disbursement unit (SDU) for collecting and disbursing child support payments. All child support payments must be processed by CSPC. ...
