Reno FSDO Hot Topics - Maintenance Seminar The 2005 Nevada State Maintenance Seminar will be held Thursday and Friday, February 24th and 25th. This two day seminar features such guest speakers as Teledyne Continental Motors, Rolls-Royce, Dallas Airmotive, and a host of others including the local Reno FSDO. Also speaking this year will be the AVS-20 Suspected Unapproved Parts Team from Washington DC. The speakers for this will be Ken Gardner and Mark Hemmerle. This coming February's seminar will mark the 23rd annual meeting sponsored by the Reno FSDO and Aviall, Inc. With out their support this seminar would not be what it is today. Many thanks to AVIALL for their generosity. Each day of the seminar meets the requirements for renewal of the IA certificate. Both days cover many maintenance subjects with presentations put on by the various vendors who participate in the seminar. The California Zephyr makes station stops west of Reno at Truckee, Colfax, Roseville, Sacramento, Davis, Martinez, with a final destination of Emeryville (San Francisco).
