NWR is provided as a public service by the Department of Commerce's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). There are more than 600 NWR transmitters, and broadcasts can be heard on the public service band on the following seven frequencies (MHZ): 162.400; 162.425; 162.450; 162.475; 162.500; 162.525; 162.550 MHZ.
