In federal fiscal year 2003(October 1, 2002 – September 30, 2003), the Minnesota District SBA Officeapproved 234 Certified Development Company Loans for $104 million. The Minnesota Office was ranked seventhnationwide in the number of 504/CDC Loans approved. This past year, Daverenovated the depot building and added a 2,500 square foot addition to makeroom for a 150-seat casual steakhouse restaurant, the Stillwater Depot Grill. He anticipates that adding the restaurant willprovide an incentive for area residents and others to visit the depot, even ifthey are not riding the train. Thecompany currently has more than 50 employees and Dave anticipates therestaurant will add an additional 20 new workers.
