The bill would also provide for escrow of wages for a person convicted of crimes that require a summary suspension of certification (including any of those that require registration on the sex offenders registry) until such time as a final determination is made regarding the certificate. If the certificate is not suspended or revoked, the employee receives the wages. If it is, the wages are returned to the school district.
