Overview: Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr.’s Video Lottery Terminal Initiative will help balance the budget and fund the State’s education commitments through the installation of Video Lottery Terminals (VLT’s) at four racetracks in Maryland. Governor Ehrlich pledges to invest 100% of the State’s VLT revenues into the new Maryland Education Trust Fund, dedicated to helping the State fund the recommendations of the Thornton Commission. ...
