Louisville’s reputation for being one of the nation’s cutting-edge bastions of new music will soon be cemented further as “KEEP YOUR DISTANCE,” the new motion picture from filmmaker Stu Pollard, will include songs in its soundtrack from a dozen Louisville artists. Pollard’s west coast based Lunacy Productions has teamed with Louisville-based LABEL X to produce a soundtrack CD which serves to complement the film as well as celebrate some of the best and brightest members of the Louisville music scene.Scheduled to be released August 2, (a month before the film bows in theaters on September 2), the CD will feature a total sixteen selections from artists such as Tim Krekel, Digby, Peter Searcy, The Muckrakers, ArtGeko, The Middle Men, Waterproof Blonde, Follow The Train, Ten Months Later, Carter Wood & David Grissom.
