Kentucky : Campbell County - Humana Expansion in Newport
June 30, 2005 - Governor Ernie Fletcher and Cabinet for Economic Development Secretary Gene Strong announced today that Humana Inc., Kentucky’s largest publicly traded company, will expand operations in Louisville and Northern Kentucky creating a total of 1,113 new jobs for Kentuckians.  The new jobs would have an annual payroll of more than $55 million. ...

"We appreciate the strong support we received from Governor Fletcher and the Cabinet for Economic Development as we developed our expansion plans," said Michael B. McCallister, president and chief executive officer of Humana.
