n Kentucky, at the Kentucky Horse Park, 19 adopted mustangs have been teamed with Lexington inner-city youth to form the Mustang Troop. Before becoming part of the Mustang Troop, many of the youngsters had never even seen a horse, much less ridden one. The "Troopers" learned how to feed the horses, clean their stalls, brush them, bathe them and ride them. ... The staff at Kentucky Horse Park have been teaching the Troopers all about mustangs and how to care for and ride them. The Troopers have been learning how to perform as part of a drill team.
