Located in Manhattan, Kansas, the Center is administered by the Agricultural Research Service, United States Department of Agriculture. The Center is composed of the U.S. Grain Marketing Research Laboratory, of which there are three research units: Grain Quality and Structure, Engineering, and Biological. The Plant Science and Entomology, and Wind Erosion research units are located on the KSU campus.
