Children from the Tri-Cap Head Start program are taken by bus to the Jasper Wal-Mart on a date just before Christmas. The children are then paired with their police officer for a day of shopping and fun. The officer and child shop for needed clothing items and toys. After the shopping cart is full, the children are loaded back onto the buses and a caravan of police cars, with lights shining and sirens wailing, head through town to the Jasper Moose Family Center.
