Hawaii's Mixed Plate Cookbooks: A Bibliography
Cooking in Hawaii is an ever-changing adventure. Each year, it seems we get more colorful, more creative, but the food retains that special "island flair" we all enjoy. This revised bibliography features some new categories such as "Chef's Specialties," with recipes shared by popular local chefs, showcasing our unique regional cuisine, using freshest local ingredients. There are separate sections for fruits, ethnic cookbooks and seafood, and healthy foods are now in their own category. Old standards are still here, in many "variety-style" cookbooks which blend culture, cookery and the love of good food.
