In this project, watershedpartners installed severalnative plant plots and used fluvialgeomorphology techniques to combaterosion of approximately25,000 square feet of riparianstreambank area on Mokapu and inMCTAB. The project sponsored agraduate-level University of Hawaiicourse on Watershed Education inwhich 16 Department of Educationteachers at the Mokapu and Aikahielementary schools received basictraining in watershed managementscience.
