Processing is then performed at the USGS Center for Coastal Studies . ... As a part of the U.S. Geological Survey's South Florida Program investigatingwater turbidity and sedimentation in Florida Bay and Biscayne Bay, USGS isdeveloping quasi-operational products from satellite data for Florida Bay. Thedaily imagery and archive from the AVHRR satellite sensor seen on these pages has beenprocessed by the USGS using data originally collected at USF-Florida DEP JointUse Facility.
