Among the construction supplies ordered and purchased by A&S from Door Suppliers were four twenty-inch wide granite doors for resale to General Contractor at a cost to A&S of $1,600 each. The sales contract between A&S and Door Suppliers provided, "In the event of return of conforming goods, Buyer will be subject to a restocking charge in the amount of one half the purchase price." On April 18, 1996 the doors were delivered to A&S and an employee of A&S signed for them and gave a check for $6,400 to the Door Suppliers delivery person. The doors were delivered to General Contractor on the same date. General Contractor told A&S the doors were sixteen inches wide instead of twenty inches wide and clearly did not fit the door openings.
