Governor Mike Huckabee of Arkansas The governor said state agencies, boards, commissions and their employees belong to hundreds of organizations. Because the state pays dues for membership, the state should get a return by hosting meetings, Huckabee said. "Conferences happen all the time, all over the country," he said. "We just think more of them should happen here." Agencies, boards and commissions will be required to submit a report each May 1 on how they're doing in attracting conventions, conferences and other types of meetings to the state. The governor said he's following the order. He has invited the Delta Regional Authority to hold its annual meeting in Arkansas. The DRA meeting will be Oct. 18-20 in Little Rock. Almost 400 people are expected to attend. Huckabee is the former state co-chairman of the DRA. ... [Read More]

Arkansas State Crime Laboratory - About Us The Arkansas State Crime Laboratory was created in 1977, by Act 517. Act 864 of 1979 placed the Crime Laboratory within the Department of Public Safety.
