Today, the mission of the Arkansas Department of Labor is to foster, promote, and develop the health, safety and welfare of the wage earners of Arkansas by providing services and enforcing laws to improve working conditions and enhance their opportunities for safe and profitable employment. Abstract The Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) mission is to promote public health policies and practices that assure a healthy quality of life for Arkansans. ADH is comprised of ten business units, including five public health regions that support services provided in 94 local health units across the state.
