(Phoenix, AZ) - Attorney General Janet Napolitano today announced her Office has settled the largest civil rights settlement in her Office's history with Tucson Newspapers, Inc. ("TNI"), over allegations of age discrimination. TNI provides support services and production facilities for the Arizona Daily Star and the Tucson Citizen newspapers. The alleged civil rights violations involve the discrimination against six older employees who were then illegally let go from their jobs in June, 2000.
