Corrections Grant Activities - Alabama
The Alabama Department of Correction plans to construct a 300 minimum-security bed facility atthe Easterling Correctional Facility and a 300 minimum-security bed facility at the VentressCorrectional Facility. Alabama Department of Revenue - Motor Fuels
The penalty is payable to the Department of Revenue and is payable by the person in whose name the motor vehicle is registered and/or the driver of the vehicle. The penalty is the greater of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or $10 per gallon of the fuel involved. In the case of repeated violations, the penalty is to be multiplied by the number of prior penalties that have been imposed under this section. The penalty imposed under this section is in addition to any fuel tax assessed.
