In addition, the grantee will develop production budgets for four crops and analyze the profit potential for cut flower production. Analysis of the marketing prospects for fresh cut flowers grown in Mississippi will be part of the study. Flowers will be delivered to local retail and wholesale florists for evaluation of market acceptability.
