According to projections released by the World Bank, total receipts for the project are expected to reach $12 billion over a 28-year period. Chad could earn $2.5 billion over the life of the project with annual revenues of up to $200 million. Chad’s Revenue Management College, an independent body that will help assure that oil wealth is used to benefit the citizens of Chad, is now established to monitor and assess the effectiveness of Chad’s oil revenue expenditures.
