Public Affairs Mepi Program

In Tunisia, although there are many IT firms, there is no specialized graduate-level training in technology management. As a result, there is a critical shortage of managers for technology development projects. To address this shortage, the U.S. Embassy in Tunisia is fostering a partnership between IHEC, Ecole Polytechnique (EP) and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in the management of technology. The first part of this project consisted of consultations in the United States where representative from IHEC and EP met with faculty and administrators at three U.S. universities specializing in the management of technology. After discussions and evaluations of the curriculums and advantages of each institution, the delegates chose RPI.
