Neiva is a city in the Magdalena Valley of Colombia with a population of about 330,817 people.

Founded by Diego de Ospina y Medinilla, it is the capital of the Colombian department of Huila. It is about five hours drive from the Colombian capital, Bogotá. Main universities include Universidad Surcolombiana, Antonio Narino, Cooperativa de Colombia.

This city is famous for "San Pedro" festival during the last two weeks of June.
