Weifang, China  Dongfeng Street in Downtown Weifang Weifang (潍坊; Pinyin: Wéifāng) is an important city in central Shandong province, China. It is famous for its large diesel engine company and factory Weichai and its kite production at Yang Jia Bu, where traditional-style kites are handmade, and has an international kite festival every year in the spring. Weifang city is divided into 4 districts: Weicheng, Hanting, Kuiwen and Fangzi. Weifang county is divided into 2 smaller counties: Changle and Linqu; and 6 county towns: Qingzhou, Zhucheng, Shouguang, Changyi, Gaomi and Anqiu. Nearby cities include Jinan and Zibo to the west, Yantai to the northeast and Qingdao to the southeast.
