Edéa, Cameroon Edéa is a city located in western Cameroon by the Sanaga River and near the railroad line Douala-Yaoundé. As of 1989, the city has an estimated 31,000 inhabitants. There are bauxite facilities, aluminium processing facility, steel processing facility, timber facilities, paper facilities and some water power stations in the city. At outskirts of Edéa people are farming bananas, oil palms and cacao trees.
