Aracruz, Brazil Aracruz Celulose S.A. is a major Brazilian manufacturer of pulp headquartered in Rio De Janeiro. The company is the world's leading supplier of bleached eucalyptus pulp. The company has two pulp making plants, one at Barra do Riacho in Espírito Santo state and the other at Guaíba in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It also has forestry operations in these states as well as in the states of Bahia and Minas Gerais. Aracruz's preferred stock is traded on Bovespa, where it is part of the Ibovespa index. It is also traded on the New York and Madrid stock exchanges.
