Gradačac, Bosnia and Herzegovina Gradačac is a small town in the northeastern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in the Tuzla Canton about 40 km south of the Sava river. Near Gradačac lie the towns Bosanski Šamac and Modriča. The census of 1991 recorded 56,378 people in the Gradačac municipality, of which there were: 60.2% Bosniaks, 19.8% Serbs, 15.1% Croats, and 4.9% others.
