Roeselare, Belgium


Roeselare (Roulers in French and English) is a municipality in the province of West Flanders, in Flanders, one of the three regions of Belgium. The municipality comprises the city of Roeselare proper and the towns of Beveren, Oekene and Rumbeke. On January 1st, 2004 Roeselare had a total population of 55,273 (27,244 males and 28,029 females). The total area is 59.79 km² which gives a population density of 924.39 inhabitants per km².
