Asipovichy, Belarus Asipovichy (Асiповiчы, Polish: Osipowicze, Russian: Осиповичи, Osipovichi) is a town in Mahilyow voblast, Belarus, located 136 km south west of Mahilyow, 3 km north of the Minsk-Homel expressway. It is located at the junction of railway lines between Minsk, Homel, Mahilyow, and Baranovichi. The population is 35,200 people. The active industries of Osipovichi include machine building, building materials, food production and light and wood processing. It is home to the hydro-electric power plant on the Svisloch River. .
